Hi! I’m Sourav – a Product Manager, AI enthusiast, and dad who’s traded Bangalore’s traffic for Germany’s Spargelzeit (yes, I’m still figuring that out).
By day, I’ve spent 17 years in the software industry, obsessing over how to turn ideas into products that stick. These days, I’m on a mission to evolve from an Individual Contributor (IC) to a ‘Super IC’ by bending AI to my will – think automated workflows, smarter prioritization, and maybe even a robot that finally answers all my Slack messages.
By night, I’m a dad to my 3-year-old, my partner-in-crime for LEGO builds, weekend bike rides, and testing whether German chocolate is truly superior (jury’s still out).
Why Germany? Two years ago, my family and I took the leap from Bangalore, India (my home for 15 years!) to Germany. Between decoding der/die/das and learning that recycling here is an Olympic sport, I’m documenting the messy, magical journey of building a life abroad – tech insights, cultural quirks, and all.
